6,986 Mother Lode Customers Without Power

Twain Harte, CA-- PG&E Officials report that there are currently 6,986 customers in the North East area of Sonora without power.

Some areas affected include Twain Harte, Leisure Pines, Long Barn, Pinecrest, and Cold Springs. PG&E Official Nichole Tam says the outage is due to the harsh weather which caused a tree to fall on a wire in the area.

She adds the weight of the snow poses a problem as well. The estimated time of restoration is at 6:20pm but could be subject to change. Officials ask for their customers to be patient as crews work on the problem.
