Yosemite National Park, CA -- The National Park Service will be hosting an Open House in Yosemite Valley on Friday, March 30 from 1-5pm in the Yosemite Valley Visitor Center Auditorium.
Planning efforts and projects that will be represented at this Open House include: Merced Wild and Scenic River Comprehensive Management Plan, Tuolumne Wild and Scenic River Comprehensive Management Plan, El Portal Road Reconstruction, Glacier Point Road Rehabilitation Project, Wawona Tunnel View Rehabilitation Project, Invasive Plant Management Plan and the Environmental Education Campus. Between 2-3pm their will be a "sneak preview" of the new Visitor Center Exhibits. These exhibits will be open to the public April 13, 2007.
