Train Rides Begin At Railtown 1897 This Weekend

Jamestown, CA -- Railtown 1897 will come alive Saturday and Sunday.

As part of opening weekend, free train rides will be available for Tuolumne and Calaveras County residents. A train departs on the hour from 11am to 3pm. Park Superintendent Mark Hada says visitors can also take a tour of the roundhouse and neighboring grounds.

Other upcoming events include a stop by the Easter Bunny on April 7th, and a benefit for the Jamestown Jail Committee on April 29th.
