Burn Day Differs In Mother Lode Counties

Sonora & San Andreas, CA -- Friday, March 30, is a "permissive" burn day in Tuolumne County but a "negative" burn day in Calaveras County.

The Burn Day notification on the home page of MyMotherLode.com is checked each morning for all three counties. A 'call' designation usually indicates that the 3 counties are not in agreement about whether or not it is a permissive burn day. In this case, it is necessary to call and confirm the burn status for your county before lighting a bonfire.
