Bulkin Selected As Superintendent Of Sonora Elementary District

Sonora, CA -- Effective July 1st, Marguerite D. Bulkin will become Superintendent of the Sonora Elementary School District.

Bulkin will be relocating her family to Twain Harte from Carlsbad, California where she and her husband Gary have lived for 25 years. Bulkin assumes her new role as Superintendent with 23 years of experience in education. She has served as a teacher, program coordinator, assistant principal, principal, and presently in a District Office administrative position as the Executive Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment in the San Dieguito Union High School District. Bulkin replaces the retiring Fred Barreiro. The selection was made by the Sonora Elementary Board of Trustees.
