Jamestown Resident Jailed Following Wednesday BrawlThursday, April 26, 2007 - 11:00 AM

Sonora, CA -- A number of shots were fired late Wednesday evening in the area of Rolling Hills and Fallen Leaf in Jamestown.
According to the Tuolumne County Sheriff's Department several individuals arrived in a Chevrolet Silverado pickup and confronted 18 year old Brian Andrew Steele about a vandalism incident that had occured earlier. Steele and his brother exited the residence. Threats and challenges to fight ensued and a brawl began. Steele reportedly fired a shotgun and at least one round struck the pickup.
Deputies arrested Steele and charged him with assault with a firearm, vandalism, fighting in public and possession of a dangerous weapon. He remains jailed with bail set at $30,000.
No injuries were reported.
