Last Call For Lumber Jubilee Queen Contest

Tuolumne, Ca -- The Tuolumne Lumber Jubilee, the oldest lumber event in California, will celebrate its 58th year June 21-24.

All prospective queen contestants have until Tuesday, May 1st to enter. The queen will be chosen on Friday, June 22nd.

Contestants must be aged 15 through 18, and attending a Tuolumne County school or home school. Individuals hoping to enter should contact Carol Southern at 928-3848.

The Tuolumne Lumber Jubilee will include a carnival, breakfasts, craft fair, arm wrestling and other entertainment. There will also be a much anticipated tug-o-war match featuring the champion Tuolumne Lumberjacks.
