Los Angeles, CA -- Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty for a third individual involved in the deaths of five people whose bodies were found in the New Melones Reservoir.
34 year old Ukranian Petro Krylov was convicted on three charges in the kidnapping-for-ransom scheme that netted the perpetrators over a million dollars. Krylov's attorney maintains that his client was forced to take part in the scheme because the others had threatened his family back home. Two other men, Jurijus Kadamovas and Iouri Mikhel were convicted earlier. They have been sentenced to death.
