Plenty of Things To Do In Calaveras This Weekend

San Andreas, CA -- There will be no shortage of things to do this weekend in Calaveras County.

First off is Relay For Life, the annual fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. It takes place Saturday and Sunday at Bret Harte High School. During the relay, teams must have at least one team member on the track at all times for 24 hours. The idea is that cancer never sleeps, so there is no finish line until a cure is found.

Next up is the 2007 Calaveras Air Fair at Maury Rasmussen Field in San Andreas. It's happening Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event includes airplane displays, airplane rides, a classic car display and radio control airplanes.

Also on tap is the Master Gardeners huge plant sale at the Government Center Demonstration Garden featuring hundreds of plants for sale. This event is taking place from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday and 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
