Calaveras Foundation Opens Grant Cycle

Angels Camp, CA -- In an effort to improve the quality if life in Calaveras County, the Calaveras Community Foundation is soliciting proposals for grant projects.

Every year the foundation gives out money to worthwhile projects through fundraisers and contributions from local businesses.

Since 2001, the foundation has given away more than 100 grants totaling $164,000.

Non-profits are eligible for the grants for projects in education, health, arts, history, and more. The deadline for grant proposals is September 1 and recipients will be announced September 17.
