San Andreas, CA -- 38 year old Christopher Solarz, a newcomer to the Mother Lode from the Livermore area, has been identified as the individual who was killed a week ago Monday after jumping into the back of an unidentified woman's Chevy El Camino following a domestic dispute.
Keith Rosa of the Calaveras County Coroner's Office confirmed the identity. Solarz reportedly tried to break out the back window while the woman was driving on Hwy 26 in Mokelumne Hill. Solarz lost his balance and fell out of the vehicle. He was lifeflighted to Mark Twain-St. Joseph's Hospital where he died. The Sheriff's Department will not be filing charges against the woman.
