Two Acre Fire Burning Near Cold Springs

Sonora, CA -- Stanislaus National Forest officials report a two acre fire burning this morning below Cold Springs across from the south side of the north fork of the Tuolumne River at Camp High Sierra.

Dispatcher Dan Bartok reports two engines are on scene along with one hand crew. Three additional hand crews have been summoned along with a helicopter.

Cause of the fire is unknown at this hour.
