Sonora Resident Arrested On Second D.U.I. Charge

Sonora, CA -- Not once but twice 23 year old Kenneth Davis of Sonora has been arrested for "driving under the influence."

Sunday morning at two o'clock Davis was arrested after being involved in a single vehicle accident on Sierra Drive north of Fuller Rd. in Twain Harte. As he negotiated a curve, he failed to maintain his 1993 Honda Civic on the right side of the road. He traveled off the west edge of the roadway colliding with a wooden retaining wall and a tree.

Davis was not injured. 21 year old Kristin Lansdon of Sonora suffered moderate injuries and was treated at Sonora Regional Medical Center. Eliseo Mejia of Twain Harte, the only one of the three not wearing a seat belt, suffered lacerations.

In addition to the prior D.U.I. charge, Davis was driving with a suspended license and was unable to produce proof of insurance.
