P.G.& E. Power Outage Extended To Noon

San Francisco, CA -- According to P.G.& E. Spokesperson Nicole Tam the scheduled Monday power interruption for 1,730 Pinecrest and Strawberry customers has been extended to noon.

The outage was to have lasted until 10:30 this morning. However crews will need an additional 90 minutes to complete their work.

This power interruption marks the first of two scheduled for this week. The second is set for Friday, August 3 from 4 to 5pm.

The interruptions are caused by a $1.1 million replacement project at the Spring Gap hydro generation facility.
