Failed Equipment Causes Power Outages

Sonora, CA -- A failed piece of equipment was the cause of a power outage in the Sonora area that affected 109 customers this morning.

According to P.G.& E. Spokesperson Nicole Tam in Stockton the outage occured at 10am. Power was rerouted and full restoration was realized at 11:40am

Elsewhere Calaveras High School has been without power since 8:30 this morning. Tam reports that the interruption has been caused by a transformer level outage. Full restoration is unknown at this time.
