Weapons And Drugs Arrests Made In Calaveras CountyThursday, September 27, 2007 - 08:00 AM

San Andreas, CA -- Three San Andreas residents find themselves behind bars after being arrested for possession of a number of illegal military-style weapons, a cyanide powder bomb and drugs.
60 year old Ronald LeRoy Applegate is being held on $270,000 bail for having these weapons stored in Angels Camp, Valley Springs, Stockton and Antioch. Also arrested were 26 year old Jim Bertrand and his 19 year old wife Tina Marie on burglary, drug possession and drug paraphernalis charges.
According to the Calaveras County Sheriff's Department the weapons were stolen from an unidentified Cal Fire employee. The cache of weapons included an Israeli military Uzi, a MAC-10 machine pistol with a silencer and an American made Colt M-16.
Also involved in the investigation were Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms agents.
