Arnold Area May Notice Smoke Beginning Thursday

Arnold, Ca -- Beginning Thursday, and continuing through Sunday, the Stanislaus National Forest will conduct a 100 acre prescribed burn on land located approximately two miles north of the communities of Arnold and White Pines, along Summit Level Rd.

Smoke may exist for short durations, especially in drainages during the evenings. A total of 30 firefighters and four overhead personnel will be assigned to the project.
