Jamestown Shooting Under Investigation

Monday, December 24, 2007 - 09:30 AM

Jamestown, Ca -- An early morning shooting is under investigation in the 17600 block of Rolling Hills in Jamestown.

The Tuolumne County Sheriff's Department says a 19-year-old Jamestown man was shot in the foot, possibly during an argument at a party. Deputies were dispatched to a party shortly before 3am to investigate what happened, who shot him and where.

The man was transported to a local hospital. The weapon used is believed to be a handgun. The Sheriff's Department says there are indications that the shooting may have occurred at a location other than the party. The investigation is ongoing.
