Power Outage Hits Calaveras And Amador Counties

San Andreas, CA -- A power outage has hit a major portion of Calaveras County stretching from San Andreas to Valley Springs.

The outage has also hit portions of Amador County.

Scott McClure of Calaveras County Transit advises his agency has no phone service at the current time.

P.G.& E. has been contacted in San Francisco and the KVML News Department is awaiting a return call regarding the cause, number of customers affected and a predicted time of full restoration.
