Calaveras County Power Outage Update

San Francisco, CA -- According to P.G.& E. Spokesperson David Eisenhauer the Calaveras-Amador County power outage is affecting approximately 35,000 customers this afternoon.

Eisenhauer adds the outage has been caused by an unknown problem at the Clay Substation in western Amador County. The exact problem has not yet been identified.

Power was lost during the noon hour.
