Sonora, CA -- 34 year old Jacob Klein found himself ensconsed in the Tuolumne County Jail Wednesday afternoon ... not because of his expired tags but because he was found to have 13.4 grams of crystal meth in a zip lock sandwich bag in his pickup.
Klein was stopped for tags that had expired 11 months ago. Any expired tags over six months and the vehicle is towed. During that process the meth was discovered. Klein was recontacted by Sonora Police and promptly arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and transportation of a controlled substance.
