Calaveras Youth Suffers Major Injuries In Skateboarding Accident

San Andreas, CA -- 16 year old Brandon Martin of Valley Springs suffered major injuries Friday evening at 5:35 when he was hit while riding his skateboard.

According to the CHP report, Martin crossed the southbound traffic lane of Hartvickson Lane and skated directly into the path of a vehicle driven by 62 year old Sandra Orr of Sonora.

Orr was not cited. Martin was transported to Mark Twain-St. Joseph's Hospital.
