San Andreas, CA -- In San Andreas today the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors will be discussing and may take possible action regarding the ATCAA Central Sierra Connect's application for grant funding from the California Emerging Technology Fund to facilitate the development of broadband service to all the rural communities in its region.
The Board may also approve a new contract between the county and the Service Employees' International Union that would run through the end of this year. And following the 90 minute lunch break the supervisors will conduct a closed session for discussion on interim policy guidelines for the general plan update.
The Board meeting gets underway at nine o'clock at the Government Center on Mountain Ranch Rd.
