Sonora, CA -- A positive identification of the two female victims from the Tuesday morning Jamestown doublewide mobile home fire remains pending.
According to Lt. Dan Bressler of the Sheriff's Office, a forensic autopsy will be performed tomorrow in Sonora. The bodies have already been x-rayed. The women have been identified as a grandmother and her adult daughter. A dog was also lost in the fire. Fire investigators from the Sheriff's Department and CAL Fire have yet to determine the origin or the cause of the fire. Initially the area was identified as a crime scene.
