Sacramento, CA -- Don Strickland of the Water Resources Board in Sacramento says water levels for both lakes and reservoirs in the central and southern portions of the state are in good shape.
New Melones Lake is currently at 63% of capacity, but it's rated at 106% of normal for this time of the year. Lake Don Pedro is at 61% of capacity. According to the W.R.B. it is at 93% of normal for the end of February.
Hetch Hetchy Reservoir is currently at 47% of capacity, but it's rated at 113% of normal for this time period.
