Stanton Sentencing Set For Monday

Sonora, CA -- Monday at 1:30pm Shawna Lea Stanton will be formally sentenced in Department One of Tuolumne County Superior Court.

Stanton was convicted on February 27th of being an accomplice after the fact and a felon in possession of a weapon in the Jon Steven Flaherty murder case.

Stanton has already served three prison terms.

Stanton's brother, 30 year old David Roy Stanton, will be retried May 14th to determine the degree of that unlawful August 25th murder. Earlier this week Stanton rejected a plea bargain offer from the District Attorney's office.
