Railroad Flat, Ca -- Clean up continues today on a 60 acre vegetation fire that started Monday morning in Railroad Flat.
The fire began at 11:03 am, according to CAL Fire, and was the result of an escaped debris burn. CDF Units from Columbia, San Andreas, Esperanza, Vallecito, Sonora, West Point, Baseline and Pine Grove all responded. Also helping out were local units from Central Fire, Altaville/Melones, Murphys, San Andreas and Mokelumne Hill. The dollar damage has not been calculated. No injuries were reported and no structures were affected. The exact location is 3820 Prussian Hill Rd.
