West Point Teen Injured In Single Vehicle Accident

San Andreas, CA -- 17 year old Joshua Church of West Point suffered minor injuries at 12:30 this morning when his eastbound vehicle, traveling at an unsafe speed according to the CHP report, left Hwy 26 west of Railroad Flat Rd. and collided headon with a large pine tree.

Church exited the vehicle which caught on fire and was 75 percent destroyed. He was treated at Sutter Amador Hospital with a complaint of pain to his head and left knee.

Church was not cited by investigating officers.
