Crews Quickly Contain Lime Kiln Rd. Vegetation Fire

Sonora, Ca -- Local fire crews quickly contained a 60x60 ft. vegetation fire on Lime Kiln Rd. near the Hwy 108 intersection this morning.

The fire was reported shortly after 6am and was from an escaped debris burn. Because the fire is in a heavy fuel area, crews are expected to remain on scene until around 9am for mop up. Smoke has been visible from Hwy 108.
