Tuolumne And Calaveras To Open May Supervisorial Meetings Today

Sonora & San Andreas, CA -- Supervisorial meetings are scheduled for today in both Tuolumne and Calaveras counties.

In Sonora there will be a resolution to support a grant application to the Sierra Nevada Conservancy to fund the first level of engineering design for the preservation and restoration of Phoenix Lake. Also on the agenda; a status report on the Board's goals for 2008.

In San Andreas there will be a public hearing at 9:30 to review the availability of non-profit agencies that are willing and able to conduct public para-transit services for the elderly and the disabled.
