CAL Fire's Standard Station Holds Open House

Sonora, CA -- CAL Fire held an open house at its newest facility today from 10am until 2pm; the Standard Station on Striker Court off Tuolumne Rd. adjacent to the Tuolumne County Ambulance Facility.

Fire Captain Roy Evans will be in charge of the operation which will house two engines and 14 firefighters at peak levels.

The new Standard Station replaces the Forest Rd. Station across from the Mother Lode Fairgrounds. The state owns that property. No decision has been made as to the future use of that property.
