Sonora High Girls Soccer Team Victorious

Sonora, Ca -- The Sonora High Girls Soccer team defeated Center of Elverta 7-0 in the first round of the District Four playoffs Tuesday afternoon at Dunlavy Field.

"They're a good team, but we had all of our gears running today,” says Head Coach Buzz Garvin.

Sonora has won the past two Sac-Joaquin Division Four titles, and will continue its quest for a third title at home on Thursday in a match-up against either Dixon or Whitney of Rocklin.

The Sonora girls currently have a record of 24-2-2. The team claimed the Valley Oak League Championship last week.
