Thursday Morning Fatality On Hwy 108

Sonora, CA -- That early morning single vehicle accident at Hwy 108 and Stockton Rd. has claimed the life of an unidentified female passenger.

CHP Officer Ed Bushey confirms the second traffic related fatality of the year in Tuolumne County.

The initial report indicates the unidentified male driver, arrested on a possible DUI charge, was southbound on Stockton Rd. when he crossed over Hwy 108. The vehicle went over the embankment.

Traffic was closed during the five o'clock hour. All restrictions have now been lifted.
