Valley Springs' Jurek Arrested On DUI Charge

San Andreas, CA -- 39 year old Edward Jurek of Valley Springs was arrested for driving-under-the-influence Wednesday evening shortly after seven o'clock.

The CHP reports that Jurek was southbound at approximately 35mph on Hawyer Rd. south of Jesus Maria Rd. when he allowed his vehicle to leave the roadway and overturn.

Jurek was extricated from the vehicle by firefighters and flown to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto with moderate injuries.
