Update On Sierra Village Vegetation Fire

Sierra Village, Ca -- Fire crews remain on scene of a vegetation fire, now estimated at one to two acres, off Highway 108 and Bottini Apple Ranch Rd. in the Sierra Village area.

According to Lisa Williams with Cal Fire there are seven state engines, a U.S. Forest engine, two local engines, three hand crews, an air-tactical unit, two air tankers, a helicopter and two county water tenders on scene.

The fire is in an area of heavy timber. No structures have been affected.
