Sacramento, Ca -- For the third year in a row, the Sonora High Girls soccer team has captured the Sac Joaquin Division Four Championship.
The Cats defeated West Campus of Sacramento 1-0 this morning at Folsom Field. It was a history making win for the school. “From what I understand, we are the first team in the history of Sonora High to win three section championships in a row, so the girls are very excited,” says Head Coach Buzz Garvin.
Tori Selesia scored the games only goal. The girls finish the season with an overall record of 26-2-2.
