Injured Fair Goers Released From Area Hospitals

Angels Camp, Ca -- The Calaveras County Sheriff's Department is reporting that all victims injured in Friday's carnival ride collapse at the County Fairgrounds have been released from area hospitals.

The children's “kiddie rides” opened for business Saturday afternoon, and all Fair programming is continuing as scheduled.

There is currently no information available on the cause of the accident, pending results of the investigation from CAL OSHA.
