Sonora, CA -- The Tuolumne County Political Action Committee has recommended challenger John Gray for the District Four supervisorial position.
Chamber of Commerce President/CEO George Segarini stated that while Incumbent Mark Thornton has done a good job in representing his constituents in the Groveland-Big Oak Flat area, John Gray appears to be the appropriate choice because of his interest in business and economic development. Segarini stressed that this was a tough decision for the Committee and was by no means a unanimous decision.
Thornton has been a Board member for 11 plus years. Gray, meanwhile, has served for seven years on the Southern Tuolumne County Planning Commission.
