Copperopolis Town Square Hosts Fourth Of July Family Event

Copperopolis, CA -- Castle and Cooke of Calaveras County is hosting a Fourth of July family event that will long be remembered this Fourth of July.

The sweet sound of the blues along with the sweet smell of BBQ are just a couple of the highlights of the day long celebration.

Games and activities for the kids include teatherball, a water baloon throwing contest and chalk on the roadway ... they all proved to be extremely popular. Throw in a ride around the Town Square in a mini fire engine and the day is just about complete.

For the adults there's nothing like a stop at the ice cream parlor and then a comfortable chair under an umbrella for a true "kick back" day in the sun ... and the shade of course.

Food, drink, ice cream, a little bit of the blues and plenty of games for the kids ... what a way to spend a beautiful Independence Day in the Mother Lode.
