Fred Mathews, DDS,MS, MPH, is an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon who has lived in Sonora for 25 years. He studied at Loma Linda University, where he has been appointed assistant professor in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery. Having also attained a Masters in Public Health, Dr. Mathews serves as Medical Director for Sonora Regional Medical Center’s Live Well Be Well Center. Dr. Mathews has had a life-long interest in wellness and a few of his bicycling accomplishments include completing “Cycle Oregon” three times and the infamous “Death Ride” three times.
