It was a crazy week last week! It was the beginning of soccer practice and school registration. To make things even more challenging we are also looking for a home to buy! Although this is my son's third year in school it was my first time doing registration. It was a semi-chaotic experience. The lines weren't too long and everyone helping moved me through the multiple "stations". It really was a painless ordeal- thanks so much to everyone helping! Soccer is something we look forward to through the summer and then in the middle of it wonder why oh why we signed up for it! The dine and dash meals and weekend after weekend of long Saturday's at games tend to wear. As the wise saying goes: "These are the longest days, but the shortest years." Being in the home market means I keep an eye on myMotherLode's Real Estate listings. I am also involved in the twice a week updates of the articles in the four Real Estate sections: Finance, the most important to me now I post information from several sources about current interest rates, online budgeting tools and the like. Fundamentals, focuses on legislation and core Real Estate issues and even landlord issues. Home improvement, is a lot of fun, be sure to check out the archive for lots of great articles on remodeling and decorating every corner of your investment. Relocation, also has a great archive on how to pack and move items. I am constantly on the look out for content that locals can use when thinking about moving. Preparing to move is an attitude. Now I clean and sort clothes and toys with new fervor and an eye towards REDUCTION! I collect so much stuff! I plan to make use of the Mother Lode's lovely consignment shops and thrift stores. The classifieds has a list of garage sales I intend to donate to and browse for back to school things. If I move into the school districts of Jamestown, Columbia, Soulsbyville or Curtis Creek or even as far as Twain Harte or Copperopolis I am sure I will find more friendly people the help me and I know myMotherLode.com has my Real Estate questions covered! |
