Beauty is all around the Mother Lode and stunning vistas were captured—and sent it to us! The winners of the Landscape Photo Contest were chosen! Winter and Spring in the Mother Lode are all about beautiful vistas, and here they are:

MyMotherLode.com enjoyed seeing the stunning local vistas that you captured! The winning image is featured on the homepage by our logo (desktop), and is the featured photo on the myMotherLode.com Facebook page for one month. 2nd and 3rd place winners are also be featured in our Local Spotlight on the Desktop Home Page.

Vista Photo Contest Rules
Participants must be 21 or older and may submit up to three photos that adhere to contest guidelines. No photos older than 18 months please.

For a photo in which a person is recognizable, you must be prepared to provide a model release from the subject or, in the case of a minor, the subject’s parent or guardian, to Central Sierra Broadcasting upon request.

For a photo from a drone, you must be prepared to provide a drone license number to Central Sierra Broadcasting upon request.

By submitting entries, the contestant acknowledges and agrees to the terms of the contest entry agreement below.

Entries should convey qualities of the Mother Lode that make the County a beautiful place to live, work and play. Winners will be chosen based on the quality of the photo, artistic composition and should make sure that the entry appeals to a broad audience community.

Generic Entry Agreement for MyMotherLode.com Vista Contest:

Please note that individual contests may have additional or updated rules.

1. No purchase necessary.
2. Void where prohibited by international, federal, state, or local law.
3. Winning households are ineligible to win another prize on the station for 30 days.
4. Winners are responsible for any and all federal, state, and local taxes which may be payable due to receipt of prize.
5. Participants may not use sophisticated telephone or computer equipment to win the contest. Winners who are found to have used such equipment will be disqualified.
6. One winner per household.
7. Central Sierra Broadcasting reserves the right to cancel the promotion at any time. All prize award decisions are final. The decisions of Central Sierra Broadcasting management are final. Rules may be changed by Central Sierra Broadcasting at any time during contest.
8. Winners must agree to release and hold harmless Central Sierra Broadcasting and its affiliates, agencies, advertisers, sponsors, licensees, and immediate families from claims, liabilities, or legal actions which may arise as a result of winning a prize in the contest.
9. Employees, agencies, representatives, affiliates, and immediate families of Central Sierra Broadcasting, and any official contest/promotion participant are not eligible.
10. Contests are open only to California residents.
11. Prizes may not be exchanged, substituted, transferred or redeemed for other prizes by winner. Prizes are non-transferable, and CAN NOT BE MAILED. Cash will not be awarded as a substitute for prize.
12. To be eligible to win, each winner will be required to sign a release giving Central Sierra Broadcasting permission to use his or her name, picture, portrait, likeness and voice for publicity purposes connected with this promotion without additional compensation. Winners will be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility and release as a condition of winning. Where applicable, tax forms must be completed.
13. Winners must present a photo id (driver’s license, passport, etc) before prize will be distributed.
14. Prizes MUST be claimed at 342 S. Washington St, Sonora, Ca. Office hours are Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:30pm (excluding holidays). Winners have thirty (30) days to claim prize. PRIZES CAN NOT BE MAILED.
15. Prizes not claimed in 30 thirty days will be forfeited by the winner.
16. By entering, entrant agrees to hold harmless and indemnify Central Sierra Broadcasting, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, governors, employees and agents against any and all liability, damages or causes of action (however named or described), with respect to or arising out of either (i) entrant’s participation, or (ii) the receipt or use of the prizes awarded in the promotion.
17. Central Sierra Broadcasting is not responsible in the event of any technical difficulties with any equipment, including telephone equipment during any and all contests.
