Wildcats Remain Unbeaten ... Bears Win Again
Sonora, CA -- The Sonora High Wildcats remained unbeaten through five weeks of the prep football season with a convincing 35-12 victory over the Central Valley Hawks at Ceres High School Friday evening.
Elsewhere the Summerville High Bears ran their record to 4-1 on the year with a 34-6 victory over Mariposa at home. Zach Roberson threw four touchdown passes.
Bret Harte (2-3) suffered a 43-0 defeat at Escalon while Calaveras (2-3) lost at Ripon 14-10.
The Oakdale Mustangs (5-0) celebrated Homecoming with a 56-6 romp over Ceres.
Next week Sonora will travel to Manteca, Summerville will host Bret Harte, Calaveras plays at Amador and Oakdale will be at East Union.
