NO,.. NO,.. NO! They just increased the CA income tax by 10%! Now they want to add another TAX? I don't think so! It's time for Californian's to get mad and write ALL of their representatives!

The state of California has completely failed. There is no fixing it with the current state government, Democrat or Republican, they are equally worthless right now.

Auto registration taxes are unfair as they are discriminatory. Multiple vehicle families would pay a disproportionate share; there is no provision to charge day use fees to rental cars carring non-California residents. Car taxes for non-traffic purposes is in itself discriminatory. Such assessments are regressive against those of lower income and especially so to those struggling so hard they are unable to utilize the parks.

If this is passed, I can afford the extra money. But would no doubt seem unfair to the many families who never use our crowded state parks because for only the cost of their gasoline, they can have a slightly more authentic camping (or wilderness day) experience in any of the national forests along the entire Sierra range.

"The voters' investment would be protected by strict fiscal and accountability safeguards..." Uh-huh. Right. Sure. I believe that. After all, look at how all the rest of our "safeguards" have been working. I feel better already...pass that kool-aid over here...
