Sonora, CA — Highway 4 Ebbetts Pass reopened just before 10 a.m. today, Cal Trans says, and further word may come later today regarding the status of ice removal operations on Highway 108 Sonora Pass.
Although daytime temperatures continue to warm, Yosemite Park information official Ashley Mayer says Highway 120 Tioga Pass is not yet ready to reopen.
“The overnight temperaturess are so cold, it’s freezing conditions, and the road still does pose a safety concern,” Mayer explains. “So, at this time it does remain closed and the park continues to reassess.
