Jamestown, CA — 30 year old Edward Baker and 30 year old Christy Walls, both of Modesto, spent their Wednesday evening in the Tuolumne County Jail.
Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Department Deputy Alex Rivera stopped the Baker vehicle for failing to stop at a Jamestown stop sign around the midnight hour. During a search of the vehicle, deputies located a police type nightstick behind the driver´s seat and a glass smoking pipe in a backpack.
Baker was on probation for having a previous conviction of possession of a deadly weapon.
The pair was booked on a felony charge of possession of a deadly weapon and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
