Caltrans Road Projects Planned This Week Around Mother Lode

Sonora, CA — Road workers will be out on area highways in both Tuolumne and Calaveras counties doing maintenance activities this week.

In Tuolumne County, Caltrans reports that there is one-way traffic control, Monday and Tuesday, from 9 am – 4 pm, on Highway 108 between Bald Mountain Heliport Road and Snowhite Ridge Road in Cold Springs for drainage work.

On Highway 120, alternating lane closures are planned on Tuesday and Wednesday, from 9 am – 4 pm, between Big Oak Road and Elder Road in Big Oak Flat.

Travelers should expect 5-10 minute delays in both locations.

On Highway 4 between Copperopolis and Angels Camp, there will be one way traffic control, today through Friday, from Bonanza Mine Road to Appaloosa Road. The hours are 7 am – 5 pm this Monday-Thursday and 7 am – 3 pm on Friday.

There will also be one-way traffic control this evening (Monday) and early Tuesday morning from 9 pm until 6 am on Highway 4 near Angles Road.
