Bell Mooney Road Closed At Railroad Crossing

Jamestown, CA — Sierra Railroad is doing maintenance work on the train tracks along Bell Mooney Road in Jamestown and it is causing a notable traffic impact.

The Tuolumne County Public Works Department reports that Bell Mooney is closed at the Railroad crossing. Travelers can get up to the crossing on both sides, but not through. The full closure is anticipated to run through 5 pm, Wednesday (October 8).

Be prepared for activity in the area. Motorists will need to take alternate routes.
