Walk For Wellness flyer
San Andreas, CA – Taking steps to honor those lost to substance use and to inform the public of the resources available in Calaveras County to help.
Sierra Hope, partnering with the Housing Resource Partnership (HRP) and Alliance for Substance Awareness and Prevention (ASAP), will hold the 2025 Walk for Wellness. The community walk and resource fair honor the lives lost to substance abuse, connect people with housing and recovery help, and inform them about local services that are making a difference.
The event will feature community resources, free beverages and food, as well as a memory table to remember loved ones who have died as a result of substance abuse. The first 150 participants will be treated to a free taco truck meal. The event is on Wednesday, October 8th, at Turner Park at 287 Treat Avenue in San Andreas. It begins at 3 p.m. and runs until 6:30 p.m. All ages are welcome to attend. Click here for more information and to register.
