Sonora, CA — There´s never a good time for a vehicle to break down, but car trouble should be a minor inconvenience rather than a dangerous disaster.
AAA of Northern California is offering Mother Lode residents suggestions about how to make the best of a breakdown.
Officials say by following a few simple guidelines, you can ensure that assistance will arrive as quickly as possible, and that you will stay safe until it does.
First, note your vehicle´s location, second, assess the vehicle´s operating problem and then pull off the road.
Drivers should always carry a cell phone, flares or reflectors, jumper cables, a tire pressure gauge, a flashlight, drinking water, snacks and a blanket in case conditions are extreme.
